Payment and Collection

Payment:
The auctioneers are unable to accept payment by cheque except where
arrangements have been made well in advance of the auction. Intending
purchasers are asked to instruct their bank to contact the auctioneer’s
bank (NatWest, 49 South Street, Dorchester) as early a s possible, to
confirm clearance in writing up to a stated maximum amount to ensure
that a cheque will be accepted on the auction day.
In the absence of such information a bankers draft, a telegraphic
transfer, or cash, will be required to allow removal of goods on the
auction day. Purchasers may not otherwise remove goods until their
cheques have cleared.
Credit Cards:
There is a 3% surcharge on credit charge transactions.
Debit Cards:
May be used as form of payment.
Buyer's Premium:
19.5% plus VAT on the hammer price.
Carriers:
For local deliveries a representative from Empire Removals will be
available on the auction day.

Collection:
Items not collected by 4pm on Thursday 13th December 2007 will
be transported to store at the buyer's expense. The buyer will also
be responsible for any subsequent storage charges.
